Beacon Business Park raises a cheer for Marston’s pub and restaurant
A new Marston’s public house and 180 seat restaurant is to be developed on the A518 Weston Road access to Beacon Business Park, just off Blackheath Lane Roundabout, in Stafford.
A deal was signed between Marston’s and ISE Estates, the company behind Beacon Business Park, on 7 October 2014 and construction is expected to commence in late November.
Planning permission for the pub and restaurant has been granted and Marston’s, the UK’s leading independent brewing and pub retailing business, is the first new tenant confirmed on the 50 acre extension to Beacon Business Park on the main road from Stafford to Uttoxeter.
Tina Moorhouse, Acquisitions Manager for North West/North Wales at Marston’s said:
“Marstons are delighted to have agreed terms to become part of the new Beacon Business Park… we’re looking forward to becoming part of the local community when we open in June 2015.”
With some 6,000 residents within a couple of miles of the new pub, a steady flow of visitor traffic to the County Showground, and the imminent arrival of 1,200 military personnel to the MOD Super Garrison, the Marston’s property team were quick to spot the need for a new family pub and restaurant in this part of Stafford.
