Marston’s PLC the ‘Knot and Plough’ pub construction under way

The new Marston’s PLC pub is well under way at Beacon Business Park in Stafford. The pub sign for the ‘Knot and Plough’ public house has just been erected on the plot, its car park having already been completed and the building itself is growing day by day.

It was announced in November last year, that the brewery and pub operator had been granted permission to build on Stafford's most exciting commercial property development site after a deal was reached with ISE Estates last October.

Marston’s PLC, the UK’s leading independent brewery and pub business, were the first purchaser to be confirmed on the 50 acre extension to Beacon Business Park. It will be a welcome addition to the area, which is expected to grow in population considerably in the next few years with extensive housing developments taking place both in close proximity to Beacon Business Park and around the town.

Beacon Business Park has seen a number of achievements recently with the completion of a new roundabout at nearby Blackheath Lane, as well as a new improved access road to the existing Beacon Business Park and adjacent 50 acre development site. With construction already in full swing, the ‘Knot and Plough’ pub is expected to be completed in June of this year.
