Meet Beacon Business Park at the Living & Working Fair on 22 October

The team from Beacon Business Park in Stafford will be exhibiting at the Living & Working Fair in Beacon Barracks at MOD Stafford on 22 October 2015. The event is being organised by the local Army Headquarters to promote employment opportunities for Armed Forces leavers settling in the West Midlands.

With around 2,200 personnel and their families expected to arrive in Stafford between 2015 and 2018, there will be huge interest in finding local jobs. Not only is Beacon Business Park located close to the development of the new MOD Super Garrison but it has a wealth of opportunities for employment. Only recently was it announced that international machinery company Wacker Neuson would be building its new headquarters at the site, with the prospect of further expansion and more jobs.

The event is open to all Army and RAF personnel, and their spouses, who are resettling into the area, as well as those already stationed in Staffordshire in Shropshire. There will be over 60 exhibitors there with information on jobs, self-employment, housing, local activities, training and education. It will run from 10am to 3.30pm and lunch and refreshments will be provided by exhibitors on site.
