OMICRON reserve plot for service centre at Beacon Business Park

OMICRON, an Austrian company with an international client base in 140 countries, has chosen Beacon Business Park as the site for its new UK service centre. OMICRON specialises in the development and production of compact equipment for the testing of protection and measurement devices in the utilities, particularly in the realm of power provision.

The company already has a sales office on Staffordshire Technology Park, where they employ eight people. It is anticipated that the new development will create up to 10 new jobs.

David Brazier, Area Sales Manager/Site Manager for UK and Ireland, is pictured reserving plot 22, which covers one acre. Design of the service centre has yet to commence. David commented:

Stafford is a great base from which to serve the UK and Ireland, and we are delighted to be able to expand and recruit more people locally.”
